ONGOING WEBSITE CARE
Technical upkeep and content changes are different needs.
Backups, updates and system checks help you look after an existing website. Changing service information, images or other content keeps it useful to your customers.
Every retainer below includes weekly cloud backups. The frequency of system checks and the allowance for content changes depend on the package. New pages, new functionality and design changes are quoted separately.

MONTHLY RETAINERS
Choose the level of ongoing support.
All prices exclude VAT. Retainers run for a minimum of 12 months and are billed monthly in advance. Change-request limits and exclusions are explained below.

Content changes
Up to 4 change requests per month, completed within 24 hours of receipt, subject to the change-request terms. Capped at 2 hours per month.

Content changes
Unlimited requests per month, completed the same day within business hours, subject to the change-request terms. Total work is capped at 4 hours per month.

OCCASIONAL WEBSITE UPDATES
Need a change, rather than a retainer?
R150 per request
One-off fee, excluding VAT. Includes 15 minutes.
Ad hoc support is for occasional website changes or maintenance without an ongoing retainer. If the request needs more than 15 minutes, the additional work will be quoted before we start.

What counts as a change request?
A change request may contain several items to be changed on the website. Each retainer change request allows 30 minutes, within the package's monthly request and time limits. If a request exceeds 30 minutes, we will quote for it before starting.
What is quoted separately?
Additional website pages, additional functionality and plugin upgrades to obtain additional functionality are not included in a change request. Changes to the design or theme are also quoted separately.
Retainer commitment and billing
All retainer packages have a minimum term of 12 months and are billed monthly in advance. Subscribing is an agreement to pay the retainer for at least 12 months. All pricing excludes VAT.
Monitoring and turnaround
24-hour uptime monitoring and response applies only if your website is hosted on our server. This is separate from the stated turnaround for content change requests. Gold's same-day change service operates within business hours and remains subject to its four-hour monthly cap.
Questions about website maintenance.
Are content changes included in every package?
No. Bronze change requests are billed ad hoc. Silver includes up to four requests and two hours per month. Gold allows unlimited requests, but the total included time is capped at four hours per month. Retainer change requests allow 30 minutes each, subject to those package limits.
Can I add a new page through a change request?
New pages, additional functionality and design or theme changes are outside the change-request allowance. Tell us what you need so the work can be quoted separately.
Does maintenance guarantee that nothing will go wrong?
No website maintenance service can guarantee that a site will never experience a problem. The packages provide the listed backups, checks and support, with monitoring dependent on where the site is hosted.
Which option should I choose?
Consider how often you need content changes and the level of technical checking you want. If updates are occasional, ad hoc support may be sufficient. We can discuss your website and the package allowances before you commit.
